Seattle

I arrived in Seattle on Monday evening August 30th and grabbed a hotel overlooking the bay right next to Pike Place Market. I am glad I did as I worked a couple hours each morning in bed before venturing into the city and the view was excellent. I did the tourist thing during the day in Seattle and visited the Seattle Aquarium, Pike Place Market, the Arboretum, Museum of Pop Culture, the Space Needle, Chihuly Garden and Glass and did a boat tour. I also stopped at some excellent craft breweries and restaurants highlighted by the Palisade Restaurant that was recommended to me by a friend back in Madison and the calamari and lobster were to die for. My 3 days is Seattle were great and I am not positive where I am headed next except I want to do some biking on the Cascade trail and check out Mt Baker so I’m driving north.
