On my way to Seattle from The Gorge I stopped to do some biking on the Palouse to Cascades State Park Trail. This runs over 250 miles. I parked in Rattlesnake Lake and biked 22 miles uphill to the Snoqualmie Pass. The incline was noticeable but not to steep. The trail was filled with suspension bridges and the views of the mountain were stunning. The trail was highlighted by a 2.5 mile tunnel right before Snoqualmie Pass. The 22 mile ride back downhill was a delight after climbing for 22 miles. Next stop 3 days in Seattle
