The Gorge – Bart's Travel Blog

Seeing a concert at the Gorge has been on my bucket list for a long time and it was even more majestic than I imagined. If you are a music lover it is a must see and even better if you can do a 3 day camping weekend. I arrived on Thursday and ended up setting up my campsite next to some very cool people from Seattle and coincidently from the Fox Valley area in Wisconsin. We spent much of the weekend together. One of the great things about road trips are all the people that you meet along the way. Phish was fantastic for all 6 sets. The views at the campground and amphitheater were even more spectacular then I imagined. It will a weekend ill never forget. The days were hot but pretty comfortable under the canopy. I left around 9am to spend the day biking along the Columbia River before heading to Seattle for a few days.
